TUMAREN Camp
Tumaren camp is a great place for any kind of exploration. The camp sits beside a large plain and before an imposing rock kopje home to Striped Hyenas, Klipspringer and Leopards.
We have hosted guests that want to run marathon distances past galloping plains game and we have hosted other guests more satisfied with relaxing in the shade and watching for what mammals will come to the salt lick beside camp. We are always ready to put together a tailor-made safari for any interest or level of fitness.
For those that want to walk, there are riding camels always at the ready to carry passengers or just to carry snacks, camera bags or extra gear. For those that would prefer a gamedrive, the landcruisers are always on standby. Rock climbing, a Masai Market visit or Football with our local team are just some of the activities to choose from while at Tumaren.

On arrival and after a cold drink and a warm greeting, you will be shown your comfortable tent and given a brief explanation of the camp. Tumaren has 6 spacious tents that can be configured many ways to accommodate large families, couples or singles.
Tumaren is easy to get to from a scheduled flight to Nanyuki, 2 hours to our south, or by charter flight to our local airstrip only 20 minutes away.
