Booking Conditions:

A digital platform http://www.etakenya.go.ke has been developed to ensure that all travellers to Kenya are identified in advance through an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system. This must be completed before traveling to Kenya. Write to us if you have any trouble with this.

CONFIRMING A SAFARI:  

We require 20% of the safari cost to confirm a booking.

FINAL PAYMENT: 

The balance is required 8 weeks prior to departure

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

 If you wish to cancel the safari it must be done in writing.

More than 120 Days - 5% Handling fee

120 – 60 Days - 20% Forfeited

60 – 45 Days - 50% Forfeited

Less than 45 Day - 100%

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Travel Insurance is required for all travelers on a Karisia or Tumaren trip to cover for cancellation or medical. Please check that your insurer covers for all activities you might want to do on safari.

Our Waiver (signature required on arrival) :

Like for most activities in life, safaris can be subject to a certain amount of risk. We at Karisia take safety very seriously but we can not control every variable or protect our guests from every unforseen circumstance. During your safari with Karisia Limited certain hazards may arise including, but not limited to, traveling in isolated regions often far from medical facilities, traveling on rough roads, walking on uneven terrain and camping and walking in close proximity to wild animals. As part of payment for your safari with Karisia Limited, you will assume this risk and hold Karisia Limited free from any and all liability for accidents beyond their control. The terms hereof shall serve as a release and assumption of risk for all of the members of your family, including minors accompanying you. Sign, below if you understand that in the event of an accident that Karisia Ltd. is not liable for any medical expenses or other costs made on your behalf and you will not hold Karisia Ltd. liable for such arrangements.
