25th June: Arrive in Nairobi
On arrival in to Jomo Kenyatta Airport on Emirates (EK719) at 14h15, you will be met outside arrivals by a driver from ‘Airports & Beyond’ and transferred across to the Tamarind Tree Hotel for your first night (Bed & Breakfast)
TAMARIND TREE HOTEL
1 Night
26th June: Nairobi to Meru
This morning you will need to take the hotel shuttle service the short distance across to Wilson Airport to check-in by 09h00 for your 10h00 Air Kenya scheduled departure, arriving in Meru approx 11h00.
RHINO RIVER CAMP
2 Nights
26th to 28th June: Rhino River Camp, Meru
On arrival at the Meru airstrip you will be met by a driver/guide and taken on a short game drive across to Rhino River Camp. Here you will have time to settle into your tents before enjoying a delicious lunch.
You will spend the next two days enjoying Meru National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives, nature walks around the camp and sundowner excursions.

28th June: Meru to Laikipia
This morning after breakfast, you will be collected by a Karisia driver and enjoy a scenic road transfer down to Laikipia and Tumaren Camp
TUMAREN CAMP
3 Nights
28th June to 1st July: Tumaren Camp, Laikipia
Set on the edge of a wide plain this beautiful camp looks west towards granitic inselbergs that define our local landscape. Each tent is furnished uniquely and all the tents offer sweeping verandas from which most of our plains game can be spotted. The grasslands are rich with wildlife and you can spend hours watching animals wander by or photographing the huge variety of birds coming to the bird bath.
Tumaren is rich in wildlife and our Samburu and Masai guides provide a great perspective on not only the game but also the local cultures of Northern Kenya. Our guides will plan the days according to your desires, wildlife and the local calendar. Each day can include guided walks, camel rides, visits to the camel creche, game drives, birdwatching, picnics, tracking, visiting a local manyatta or market (if the day is right), visiting a school and rock climbing.

1st July: Laikipia to Masai Mara
This morning, you will be transferred across to Loisaba airstrip to meet your Air Kenya scheduled flight departing at 10h15, arriving in the Mara at approx 12h15.
SPEKE’S CAMP

1st to 4th July: Speke’s Camp, Masai Mara
Speke’s Camp is situated on the boundary of the famous Maasai Mara Reserve, surrounded by fabulous indigenous trees overhanging the Olare Orok River. The Camp is a 10 minute game drive from the main reserve, and designed with privacy and nature in mind. Aside from arguably some of the best game viewing in the world, Speke’s camp offers a comfortable and pleasant base for exploring the Mara with wonderful sundowners, picnics and bush breakfasts whilst on game drives in this fabulous wildlife location. Speke’s Camp offers complete freedom to tailor your stay as you wish, with exclusive use of vehicles for all their guests.

4th July: Nairobi/ Depart
This morning, a driver from Speke’s Camp will take you back across to the airstrip to meet the 11h15 Air Kenya scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. On arrival at approx 13h00, you will be met by a driver who will be at your disposal for the rest of the afternoon before dropping you off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your flight home.
