Away on Safari and Beach
Arrive
in Nairobi in the morning and fly straight on to the Masai Mara
in time for a delicious lunch at the Mara Intrepids Camp.
Nights
1-4 Intrepids, Masai Mara.
Intrepids
is a traditional luxury bush camp on the Talek River in the
heart of the Masai Mara. The camp is very well situated for
game viewing being nearly adjacent to the famous Rekero crossing,
and each day you can explore a new area with your personal driver/guide.
The camp has a swimming pool which is perfect for dips after
game drives.
Nights
4-7 Banana House, Lamu.
From
Intrepids you will fly to Lamu on Kenya's beautiful Swahili
coast. On Lamu you will stay at Banana House in the small sleepy
town of Shela. Each day you can explore a new aspect of Lamu,
from its long, white sand beaches to its fascinating history
and architecture. With no vehicles on Lamu the chosen mode of
transport is by dhow (traditonal Arabic sailboat) and this can
be an excellent way of enjoying a sundowner on the Indian Ocean.
