Kenya has so much to offer Birdwatchers. With over 1100 species in a country the size of Texas, it is an ornithological dream come true. Luckily, many of the areas that are good for birds are also excellent for large game. Look at some of our photos to get a sense of the type of things you might run into on a Karisia Limited Birding Safari.

Kerry Glen and James Christian offer privately guided Ornithological Safaris throughout Kenya. We have led Audubon trips as well as safaris for individuals and families and we specialize in putting together custom itineraries for individual interests and goals. The following itineraries are just examples of trips we have made for others but they should give you an idea of what Kenya and Karisia Limited have to offer. James Christian worked as a field biologist with endangered birds for nearly ten years and Kerry Glen grew up on safari with her father, the renowned birder/naturalist/sculptor Robert Glen who has discovered, and identified a new species of Hornbill, a new Chat, as well as a new Bat. Download a bird list of the species native to our conservation area in northern Kenya.
